HELP PROTECT OUR NEIGHBORHOODS FROM OVERDEVELOPMENT!
Tuesday, August 4 at 6:00PM at the Historic Metro Courthouse, the Metro Council will be considering BL2026-1446, a request for massive upzoning of 43 acres of property by Vanderbilt University. This rezoning will include allowable building heights of up to 475' - taller than most downtown buildings - and 6.1 million square feet of density.
Here's how you can help:
Attend the August 4 meeting at 6:00pm and speak at the public hearing to let the Metro Council know that more concessions need to be made to height and density to lessen the impact on us.
Email the Metro Council (councilmembers@nashville.gov) to let them know that BL2026-1446 should NOT proceed on second reading until Vanderbilt works with our neighborhoods to lower the building heights and reduce the overall density.
